Lawrence started his work under the masterful tutelage of his father in the textile industry. Helping to run his father’s business enabled Lawrence to learn the ropes of business quickly and effectively. After a few years and at a young age, he decided to start his own business as part of his passion for the Food & Beverage industry. Since then, he has never looked back. He started FieldCrest Singapore in 1995 and the business has grown into a leading Singapore-based hospitality supply company which covers a good part of the regional Asian markets. Using his goodwill and sharp business acumen, Lawrence has developed Fieldcrest into a serious regional industry player with an international outlook.

Being a keen and competitive sports player himself and armed with an energetic drive, Lawrence brings a great deal of enthusiasm and motivation to his team. Under his leadership, Fieldcrest will continue to be a strong partner to both our customers and suppliers of global brands.

Alvin Tan
Executive Director

Alvin started his career as a Naval Combat Officer in the Republic of Singapore Navy. After spending 11 years in the Navy and completing his tertiary education at the National University of Singapore (Bachelor Arts & Social Science: Merits) during his naval service, he decided to move on and embark on the next phase of his life. He decided to join his long time friend in his Food & Beverage enterprise and subsequently, the business changed to a purveyor of premium hospitality supplies: Fieldcrest Enterprise.

Alvin has been a keen sports person since his younger days and has in recent years taken up endurance sports. Together with his early training in the military and also as a keen sportsman, he is able to bring competitiveness and work discipline to the business. In addition, his astute perspective on various issues helps to steer the direction and vision of the company. He provides a robust mix of dynamism and leadership as a core member of the executive team.
